Duathlon (Run + Ride)
The ABCh Race #47 - Duathlon (Run + Ride) is scheduled for 2nd November 2025, Sunday.

Race Details
- Reporting & Start Point: Montecristo Banquet at the junction of Sindhu Bhavan Road and SPRR.
- Reporting Time: 5:00 AM - 5:30 AM. Late arrivals will not be permitted.
- Race Start: The run begins promptly at 6:00 AM.
- Race Format: All participants will have a mass start, with the race beginning after the run. Slipstreaming is permitted.
- Time Recording: Results are based on your total time, from the start of the run to the end of the cycling leg.
- Event Finish Time: 8:15 AM for all men and women.
- Cycle & Equipment Storage: A designated area for bikes and equipment will be available at the start/registration point.
- Running Route (6.2 km): Starting at the Taj Hotel intersection on S.P. Ring Road, you'll run toward SG Road, make a U-turn, and return to the start point. Please note: For your safety, run on the right side of the road, opposite to the flow of vehicle traffic.
- Cycling Route (28.2 km): From the start, turn right onto SPRR and follow the route past Shilaj Cross Roads, Science City Cross Roads, Lapkaman Cross Roads, and Vaishnodevi Circle. Make a U-turn and return on the same path, finishing just before the start point on SPRR.
Categories
- Team category
- Female under 40 years age [includes 40 years]
- Female above 40 years age
- Male under 45 years age [includes 45 years]
- Male above 45 years age
Note: If the number of participants in any category is less than 5 people, the categories will be merged into a single category by gender.
Prizes
Prizes are applicable for each category.
- 1st Prize: Rs. 3000
- 2nd Prize: Rs. 2000
- 3rd Prize: Rs. 1000
For Team Category, the prize money is for the entire team.
Prizes will be awarded based on the number of participants in each final category:
- If a category has fewer than 10 participants, only the 1st prize will be awarded.
- If a category has 10 to 14 participants, both 1st and 2nd prizes will be awarded.
- If a category has 15 or more participants, all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will be awarded.
Participant Registration
Participant registration is mandatory and must be completed in advance; no walk-in entries will be allowed.
Participation Fees:- ABC Members: Rs. 500
- ADR Members: Rs. 720
- Non-Members: Rs. 900
Registration for non-members who pay the Rs.500 member fee will not be considered valid, and the rider will be disqualified. Similarly, payment by non-ADR members who use the discounted ADR fee will also result in disqualification. Registration can be canceled before the deadline of 5:00 PM, 28th October 2025.

Rules and Guidelines
- Participants must bring their own bicycles and any necessary equipment. ABC will not provide them.
- Hydration is available only at the starting line and transition area.
- There are no changing room facilities.
- No volunteers are allowed to assist you during the race or in the transition area. You may, however, assist or be assisted by fellow participants.
- Aerobars are strictly not allowed.
- You are responsible for understanding the route before the race.
- Age categories will follow the regular norms of ABCh.
- Park your bike considerately so as not to block other participants.
- While we will try to safeguard bikes and loose belongings, ABC and its volunteers assume no responsibility for them. Do not hand over any articles directly to volunteers; this is a disqualification offense.
- The Race Director's decision on all race conduct matters is final and uncontestable.
